If asked to do so in advance, most adjudicators are very happy to meet with teams informally for a specified time after the performances and public adjudications at the end of each evening. If you include this in your festival, please ensure that a member of the festival organisation is present at any such meetings.
Please remember NDFA organises the George Taylor Playwriting Competition, which is open to any piece of one-act original theatre accepted by and performed at any NDFA festival between 1st July 2015 and 30th June 2016. The play, not the production, must be recommended by the Festival Organiser and by the Adjudicator. The play must be unpublished at the time of entry and have received fewer than five public performances.
The details and form can be found in the NDFA Directory, and it is worth noting that this award is now sponsored by Stagescripts, who will present a cheque for £250, together with the option for Stagescripts to publish the play.
Entries must be with Lyn Mison by 30th September 2016
